Help lead your local PMI chapter • Open until filled
The PMI Columbia River Basin Chapter (PMI-CRBC) is seeking dedicated members to serve on the Chapter Board. These
leadership roles help deliver professional development, student and university partnerships, and the strategic direction of
an all-volunteer chapter that has served Central Washington since 1994.
OPEN POSITIONS
Executive Vice President
Successor and backup to the President; strategic partner to the Board
• Assist the President in managing chapter operations and stand in when the President is unavailable.
• Serve as backup to Finance and Operations and help keep required officer coverage in place.
• Contribute to strategic planning, sponsorship, governance, and a smooth leadership transition.
Vice President of Professional Development
Champion of member learning, certifications, and PDUs
• Design continuing education that builds core competencies and aligns with the PMI Talent Triangle®.
• Oversee certification support such as PMP®/CAPM® boot camps and related course partnerships.
• Lead Professional Development events, speaker programs, and PDU confirmation.
Vice President of Academic Outreach
Bridge between the chapter and the next generation of project professionals
• Build relationships with universities, colleges, and other educational partners in the region.
• Promote student membership, CAPM® pathways, scholarships, and campus events.
• Connect faculty and students with chapter meetings, mentors, and career resources.
WHO SHOULD APPLY
Applicants must be PMI-CRBC members in good standing. Ideal candidates are organized, collaborative, and ready to give
a consistent monthly commitment to Board meetings, chapter events, and the work of their portfolio. Prior volunteer or
leadership experience is helpful but not required—willingness to learn and follow through matters most.
