VP Membership Bio

Eric Lonsbury is a metallurgical process engineer with ATI Metals with over 15 years of experience in advanced metals and aerospace components manufacturing.  He has led projects including factory design, equipment installation and startup, and efficiency improvements for companies manufacturing advanced metals, aircraft engine parts, and metal powder.  He has worked and studied overseas, including China, Japan, and India.

Eric holds a Masters in Materials Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Physics.  He is a Certified Assistant Project Manager (CAPM) and a member of the American Society of Materials.  Eric has a passion for human-centered design and has experience as a residential architect.

Outside the factory, Eric spends time with family, friends, and pets.  Eric is an avid downhill and cross-country skiier, and enjoys long hikes, climbing, woodworking, and cooking.  He is a volunteer ski patroller at Anthony Lakes Resort in Northeast Oregon.
