Your PMI CRB Chapter Board is pleased to continue its efforts for the 2019/20 Program Year to enhance and provide value to the membership by offering Monthly Chapter Meetings & Education Sessions.

6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Project Managing Communication for Superior Results presented by Shae Frichette from Frichette Winery


Chuck Gunzel currently serves as a Program Manager in the National Security Directorate at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) where he leverages over three decades of military, industry, and government experience leading national security projects utilizing innovative PNNL solutions & top-notch talent to maximize mission impact on behalf of today’s warfighter and nonproliferation experts.

Chuck joined PNNL in April of 2015 after three decades of service with the U.S. Navy, including 18 years of active duty and 12 years in the Naval Reserve. His awards include the Meritorious Service Medal (2 awards), Navy Commendation Medal (3 awards), the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (2 awards), the National Defense Service Medal, and the Kuwait Liberation Medals (Saudi and Kuwait). His last active duty station was at the Office of Naval Research as a
Program Manager for Irregular Warfare Systems on behalf of U.S. and international allies and their naval expeditionary missions. In this role at ONR, Chuck led the Nation’s leading basic research program to counter the IED threat working with JIEDDO, OSD, DHS, the White House, and across the services.

Chuck holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration & Naval Sciences from Oregon State University. He retired from military service as a Captain in the Navy, qualified in Surface Warfare, Engineering Duty, and Diving & Salvage.


Shae Frichette is Co-owner of Frichette Winery, a limited production winery and tasting room in the Red Mountain AVA in Washington State, USA. As a minority business owner in the Washington wine industry and with her background in leadership, Shae has been provided opportunities to speak at various events sharing her story and skillsets.

Shae has completed the Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET) Level 2, and Introductory Course and Exam to Court of Master Sommeliers. She is the 2015 ATHENA Young Professional Award recipient, a recipient of the 2015 Entrepreneurial Award, 2015 Young Professional Award recipient and graduate of the Leadership Tri-Cities Class XX.

Shae holds a B.A. in Theatre from Winthrop University in South Carolina, leadership and
facilitator certifications from Franklin Covey, Ken Blanchard and Achieve Global and has the
distinction of the CPCC from Coaches Training Institute.



As always a No Host Bar will be available during the Networking.
