Your PMI CRB Chapter Board is pleased to continue its efforts for the 2017/18 Program Year to enhance and provide value to the membership by offering Monthly Chapter Meetings & Education Sessions. 


4:30 - 5:30 p.m. - "Integrating Process Engineering Principles to Improve the Success of a Research, Development and Deployment Project" presented by Jared Wight from PNNL


5:30 - 6:00 p.m. - Networking and Social Time
6:00 - 6:30 p.m. - Dinner
6:30 - 7:30 p.m. “Bringing Together Business Operations Into a Common Framework for More Impactful Business Solutions"  presented by Greg Herman, PMO Director at PNNL

Greg will discuss how to use Project Management principles to bring together Business Operations in to a common framework to deliver more impactful business solutions. This framework provides a common approach in which both risk and value-driven M&O needs are identified, prioritized and managed. 

Greg Herman


Mr. Greg Herman is the Director of the Integrated M&O Project Management Office (PMO) within the Communication and IT Directorate. Over the past three years, as the PMO Director, Greg is responsible for all projects within the purview of the Integrated M&O Portfolio that spans all its Management and Operations (M&O) organizations. 

Greg has nearly three decades of experience working at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) in a variety of positions.  After joining PNNL in 1988, Greg held positions with steadily increasing levels of responsibility and complexity in the construction project management field.  Most recently, in 2011, Greg served on a two-year appointment as the Project Director for a multi-million construction Line Item (LI) supporting the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center (SLAC). 

Greg holds a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Washington State University and completed his Master of Sciences in Business Administration in June 2003.  Greg has also been a certified Project Manager from PMI since December 2003
